The Learning Botanist
HISTORY
The founder of TLB, Jordan Francisco, graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. in Environmental & Plant Biology. ‘Botany’ was the term Jordan often used to explain his degree.
After graduating College, Jordan took time to work in sustainability in local government through the AmeriCorps program, The Greenest Region Corps. After a year of service, he got involved in academia as a substitute teacher in the Chicago Public School system. At many schools, Jordan was able to share his experience in sustainability and his love for science to CPS students.
MISSION
Here at TLB, we believe in products that are made with sustainability in mind. Sustainability encompasses the development of economic, environmental, and social longevity where any action taken does not impede the three pillars.
